Help us change the face of the arts boardroom

RIAC exists to make arts governance more inclusive, accessible, and representative. We do this by matching aspiring young trustees with arts and culture organisations, pairing each trustee with an experienced mentor, and offering monthly events that demystify the role and build confidence and community.

(If the button above doesn’t load, you can also click here to donate)

Our services are free to the individuals and organisations who use them — but we rely on donations to make that possible. By supporting RIAC, you’re investing in a stronger, more diverse arts and culture sector — and helping the next generation of leaders step up and shape it.

What your donation could help us do

Your gift, whatever the size, will support our core activities. To give you a sense of impact:

  • £500 could help us run an in-person event such as “Meet a Mentor” – bringing together new trustees and experienced board members for networking and support.
  • £250 could support the full trustee matching process for one candidate and one organisation – from interviews and writing briefs to introductions and follow-up.
  • £100 could help us deliver an online seminar – sharing essential knowledge on topics like arts fundraising or charity finance.
  • £50 could help us welcome a new aspiring trustee into the RIAC network – including a one-to-one introductory call and tailored guidance as they begin their trustee journey.

All donations, large or small, help us build a more inclusive and dynamic arts leadership.

RIAC UK is a UK-registered charity number 1201090. You can view our registration on the Charity Commission website.

In addition to the JustGiving link above, we welcome donations by cheque, BACS or corporate giving account, and we are registered for Gift Aid – please get in touch to find out more.
