RIAC match: Aurelia Kassatly with Artists Futures Fund
We are delighted to have matched Aurelia Kassatly with Artist Futures Fund who she joins as a new trustee. AFF supports talented individuals to overcome significant barriers that prevent them from pursuing careers as artists or designers. Support encompasses both place-based grants and professional development opportunities, co-delivering programmes through dynamic partnerships with Higher Education Institutions and cultural organisations across the UK. Their core mission is to open doors to diverse and exciting futures in the arts.
Aurelia is Head of Business Performance at the Charities Aid Foundation (CAF). In her new trustee role, she will be supporting AFF’s Managing Director on strategy development, implementing learning and development programmes for the organisation, risk management and other operations and governance-related matters. Aurelia has worked at CAF for six years, starting out there as a philanthropy advisor to HNW donors. Prior to this, Aurelia worked in Beijing for a US-based think tank. She is passionate about the visual arts and design and in her free time volunteers at Orleans House Gallery, a contemporary art gallery in Richmond, run by the borough.
Aurelia says: “I am really looking forward to working with AFF. The organisation is at such an exciting time in its growth with bold plans for our future activities, and I look forward to helping realise those ambitions as a Trustee.”
Olivia Mason, Artists Futures Fund Director, says: “RIAC’s support has been invaluable to our expanding organisation, thoughtfully matching potential trustees to align their individual growth with our strategic goals. We feel incredibly fortunate to welcome Aurelia as a new charity trustee, and we’re excited to collaborate with her and benefit from the wealth of skills she brings.”
