RIAC match: Alexander Amos & The Choir with No Name - November 2023

RIAC’s most recent match sees Alexander Amos become a trustee of The Choir with No Name – a charity running choirs and building joyful communities with homeless and marginalised people in locations around the UK.

Alex is a lawyer and is inspired by the way that arts and culture can bridge gaps between people. He says: “I am so excited to join The Choir with No Name. I strongly believe that music is under-appreciated as a force for good and positivity in our society. CWNN is such a wonderful organisation, bringing stability and joy to more marginalised members of the community.  I am extremely grateful to RIAC for connecting us and its thoughtfulness and professionalism during the process.”

Kate Wareham, CEO of The Choir with No Name says:  “We are thrilled to have Alex joining the board. He has already proved himself to be a huge asset, investing time in getting to know the charity, asking insightful questions, and making some brilliant suggestions. We are looking forward to making the most of the wide range of skills that Alex brings to the board. RIAC have been very helpful, carefully matching us with possible trustees and checking in regularly to support the process. Thank you RIAC and Alex!”
