RIAC match: Vincenzo Tuozzo & Continuo Foundation - October 2023
In October 2023 RIAC matched new trustee Vincenzo Tuozzo with Continuo Foundation – a non-profit organisation which supports baroque musicians and enables them to bring the joy of live music to communities across the UK, as well as opening access to early music via the Continuo Connect digital hub which enables musicians to publicise their work to a wider, more diverse audience.
Tina Vadaneaux, Continuo Foundation’s Chair, says: “We are thrilled to have Vincenzo joining our board and bringing his knowledge of digital platforms and marketing skills to complement the skills of the other Trustees. We are very grateful to RIAC for connecting us with Vincenzo, and for the work they do to ensure the next generation of capable trustees for arts & culture charities in the UK.”
Vincenzo works in marketing communications at Apple, and is passionate about the arts. This is his first trustee position. He says: “To ensure the continued success of arts and culture in the future, it’s crucial that people of all ages can connect with various forms of art. I was keen to find an arts charity where I could make a difference, and thanks to RIAC, I have been paired with Continuo Foundation. where I am able to get involved and contribute my experience to their innovative digital initiative. It has been exciting to discover the vibrant early music scene in the UK, and to be part of a strategy to help the sector flourish for the long term.”
Vincenzo will be mentored in his new role by Sir Vernon Ellis, who has many years of board experience in the music sector and is chair of Live Music Now and the Britten Pears Foundation.
