RIAC events in early 2025

RIAC events in early 2025

At RIAC we organise a monthly programme of events to give network members an opportunity to connect, attend arts events, and find out more about charity governance and trusteeship in the arts & culture sector.

Our first two events of 2025 are confirmed, and we have more events in planning.

Tuesday 21 January 2025: Breakfast event in partnership with HEC Alumni Network
8.30 – 10.00am: HEC House, 43 Parker Street, London WC2B 5PS
A breakfast event at HEC House near Holborn, the home of French business school HEC and their active London alumni network.
RIAC mentor Sir Vernon Ellis and RIAC chair Anna Rowe will be talking about joining arts charity boards under the title ‘Good Governance, Great Impact’.
Find out more on the HEC alumni website (RIAC members should have been sent a code for 30% off external tickets)

Monday 3 February 2025: An introduction to arts charity fundraising with Nicole Newman
6.30 – 7.30pm: online via Zoom
We’re delighted that fundraising specialist Nicole Newman will be running an online session for us which is designed as an introduction to fundraising for arts charities which will be relevant to charity trustees and arts organisations alike. You can read more about Nicole on her website.
To attend on 3 February contact Cathy at contact@riac-uk.org to register and be sent the Zoom link

We have more events in the pipeline for later in the year, including a return to the London Symphony Orchestra’s Half Six Fix concerts at the Barbican, more Meet a Mentor events with RIAC’s ‘Brain Trust’, and a repeat of our popular online session An Introduction to Charity Accounting. We’ll be rounding off the season with relaxed summer drinks in July. Stand by for more details coming soon as dates are confirmed.
