RIAC match: Rebekka Dickinson with Told by an Idiot
We are pleased to have matched HR professional Rebekka Dickinson with theatre company Told by an Idiot.
Rebekka is a Global HR Director, supporting US-based companies in the Life Sciences sector to expand their operations into Europe and the rest of the world. A keen supporter, and amateur-contributor, to the arts, this is her first Trustee position.
Rebekka says: “Meeting the team at Told by an Idiot and learning about their values to make theatre accessible to anybody, through finding laughter in unusual places, has immediately sparked my interest to support their mission by offering my skillset to their Board of Trustees. RIAC has been a great partner to make the relevant connections and support me throughout the process. As an early career trustee, it is invaluable to know that there is a network of peers and mentors to help navigate the responsibilities of this exciting new role. I look forward to sharing my passion, and my professional skills, to see Told by an Idiot reach new audiences and keep doing what they do best – share laughter where it is needed!”
Jen Holton, Executive Director of Told by an Idiot adds: “We are thrilled to welcome Rebekka to the board of Told by an Idiot. Her deep expertise in HR has already provided us with invaluable insights and practical advice, significantly benefiting our organisation. Working with RIAC has been a fantastic experience, and we are truly grateful for the introduction to Rebekka. We highly recommend them.”
Rebekka will be mentored in her new role by Jonathan Norbury, who has many years’ experience as a trustee, particularly in the theatre sector including on the board of the Old Vic.
