RIAC match: Anja Zoll Khan & Jon Foster with Boy Blue

RIAC match: Anja Zoll Khan & Jon Foster with Boy Blue

We’re hitting the ground running with matches at RIAC this autumn, with two new Trustees for dance company Boy Blue.

Boy Blue is a hip hop dance theatre company born and bred in East London who create dance theatre work that tours throughout the world, and invests in the next generation of artists through an intensive, high-quality training and artist development programme. Executive Director Jo Stendall says: “We, at Boy Blue, are really thrilled to welcome Anja and Jon to our board.  They are both exceptional experts in their fields and we know we will be stronger for their support.  The process with RIAC was thoughtful and considered and I appreciated the care taken to introduce us to each other.  And for a small but mighty charity, the fact that this was a free service was extraordinary.”

Anja Zoll-Khan is a Broadcast Executive at BBC Studios, and this is her first Trustee position. She says: “I’m thrilled to join Boy Blue as a Trustee. Their mission to empower UK-based hip hop artists globally through a multi-generational, multi-cultural approach is truly inspiring. RIAC’s thorough process was instrumental in helping me find this perfect fit, allowing me to contribute my experience in strategic partnerships and digital to an art form I’m passionate about. I’m excited to help raise Boy Blue’s profile and support their development of an inclusive hip-hop dance theatre scene.”

Joining Anja on the Boy Blue board is Jon Foster, Executive Director of Corporate Engagement at Goldman Sachs who has also been matched via RIAC. We wish both new trustees all the best in their new roles.
