RIAC match: Antje Lang & Icon Theatre - April 2024

RIAC has recently matched Antje Lang, who works in sustainable investing and operations for Oxford Property Group, with Medway based theatre company Icon Theatre. Antje joins fellow RIAC trustee Meryn Pillay, who was appointed to the Icon board a few months ago.

Antje says: “I am thrilled to be joining the board of Icon Theatre, an award-winning Medway-based theatre and participatory arts charity. This vibrant organization pushes the boundaries of where theatre happens, who it is for, and how it can help people and places to grow. Icon has been a driving force in bringing the magic of live performance to the area, fostering creativity and enriching lives. I’m honored to contribute my passion and skills towards furthering Icon’s mission of making the arts accessible to all. I’m grateful to RIAC for making this match and providing ongoing support.”

Daniel King, Executive Director of Icon adds: “We are delighted to welcome Antje to Icon’s Board. For a long time, Icon has been looking for a trustee with expertise in sustainability and environmental issues and we are thrilled to have found that in Antje, amongst the other brilliant skills that she has. This is the second trustee Icon has found with RIAC, the cost-free support has been invaluable.”

Antje will be mentored in her new role by Susannah Simons, one of RIAC’s team of experienced mentors who is Editorial Director of Marquee TV as well as serving on a number of arts boards.
