Cecile de Cormis joins RIAC as new Executive Lead

RIAC UK is delighted to welcome Cécile de Cormis as Executive Lead, as our previous Executive Lead Matthew Swann moves on to become Director of the BBC Concert Orchestra.

Cécile began her career at Somerset House before moving to Tate to work on Corporate Events before leading Corporate Development at Tate across both Gallery and Enterprise. Following her success at Tate, Cécile ventured into the tech startup world, working on international commercial projects.

Anna Rowe, chair of RIAC says: “I am thrilled to welcome Cécile to the RIAC team. What began 18 months ago as just an idea has grown into a thriving organisation with 85 members and 75 arts organisations registered with us. I am excited to see how Cécile leads us forwards in this new phase. I would also like to thank Matthew for his excellent work to bring us to this point and wish him well in his new role.”

Cécile de Cormis says: “I am absolutely delighted to have joined the RIAC team and look forward to contributing to their mission. It is so important, now more than ever, for arts & culture organisations to draw on the largest pool of talent to help steer them through uncertain times. RIAC’s work is unique and their commitment to nurturing the next generation of Trustees is inspiring.”
