In May 2023 RIAC matched new trustee Andrei Kazantsev with Tête à Tête Opera – a vibrant arts organisation which makes, and helps others to make, new opera which is accessible to all.

Bill Bankes-Jones, Tête à Tête’s Artistic Director says: “At the start of 2023 we had a big skills gap on our board. We were keen to find an individual with an easy grasp of company accounts and business strategy. We’re delighted that, thanks to a thoughtful introduction by RIAC, Andrei Kazantsev has agreed to join our board, bringing his skill set in both these areas.”

Andrei is Global Head of GS Crypto Trading at Goldman Sachs, with a long-term love of both performing and visual arts. This is his first trustee position.
“In the last few years I really started thinking about contributing time to charities that could benefit from my experience. Thank you RIAC for introducing me and putting me in touch with organisations I would not be able to find by myself. Without you, I would have been completely lost and daunted by the process.”

Andrei will be mentored in his new role by Lorna Parker, one of RIAC’s mentors who has many years of board experience and is a trustee of the National Opera Studio.
